Halal Burgers Done Properly in Soho: What It Means at Paradiso

A proper halal burger is about more than simply choosing halal meat. It means paying attention to where the ingredients come from, how the meat is prepared and what goes into every part of the burger. At Paradiso, that means bringing together quality ingredients, bold flavours and proper burger-making to create something that everyone can enjoy.

Halal burgers in Soho

Soho sells a burger on every corner. Most of them are not halal. The ones that are tend to bury it in a footnote or stop at one or two options.

We took the other route when we opened in Kingly Court. Source halal across the beef and chicken, then stop treating it as a special request. If you want the longer version of how this kitchen came together, The Paradiso Story covers it.

Halal burgers in Soho you can try:

  • Cheeseburger. Smoked cheddar, house burger sauce, baby gem and pickles.
  • Truffle Burger. Charcoal brioche bun, truffle mushroom sauce, crispy shallots.
  • Temper Smash Burger. Smoked raclette, green sauce, pickled onions and chillies.
  • Hot Shot Burger. Fermented chilli hot mayo with a slow burn that builds rather than hitting you on the first bite.
  • Wagyu Big Smoke. Wagyu patty, slow-smoked brisket, smoked raclette.
  • Fried Chicken Burger. Buttermilk-marinated with a crisp crumb and ranch mayo.
  • Vegan Mountain Burger. Mushroom-based patty and vegan cheese.

Every patty is hand-formed and cooked to order, then served in a toasted brioche bun with sauces made in our kitchen. Full descriptions sit on the Burgers in Soho page.

What halal certification means here

All of our beef and chicken is halal certified. If you are hunting for halal-certified burgers in London, that is the line that matters, and it covers the brisket in the Wagyu Big Smoke along with the buttermilk chicken, the wings and the goujons.

Sourcing is only half of it. The rest is how the kitchen runs. Patties are hand-formed rather than pressed. Sauces are made here rather than squeezed from a bottle. Fries arrive every morning and get cut in-house.
